Salt Lake City Bicycle Manufacturing Start-up Launches Impressive New Pedal Design on Kickstarter

SALT LAKE CITY, UT March 19, 2015 – A small Salt Lake City based bicycle manufacturing start-up has created a clever new solution for commuting cyclists looking for a performance ride without an expensive clip and cleat system.

Loki Cycle’s Lux Pedal is a high performance commuter pedal that embodies function, versatility, durability and ease. By integrating a built-in strap with the overall design of the pedal, the Lux Pedal delivers clipless performance without the need for specialized shoes and clips.

The pedal is manufactured out of heavy-duty glass packed nylon and aircraft grade aluminum, making it stiffer and more efficient than the other commuter pedals currently available. The nylon-webbed strap can be adjusted with a single hand on the fly, allowing the rider to easily modify the fit to accommodate shoes of all types and sizes.

Loki’s patent pending design will be released in the summer of 2015. Check out and support their Kickstarter campaign here.
